lightest CO2 chuck? lezyne straight version unavailable?

i have a simple lezyne co2 chuck i got about a year ago. it must be one of, if not the lightest one on the market. id like to buy another to keep on another bike.lightest CO2 chuck? lezyne straight version unavailable?-26242_1_supersize.jpg

it appears to be discontinued, but they're now selling this one (below). does anyone know if i can simply remove the "old piece" (above) to make the new 90-degree version (below) into the simpler direct older version?

alternatively, is there another ultralight CO2 chuck i should be considering for my threaded cartridges?

I have a Serfas CO2 chuck in my road bike kit. Relatively inexpensive.

Was surprised to find it weighs 18g on my scale - mostly because my "guess by holding it in my hand, Indian Jones style" was around 10g.

Works fine, and while I'm a serious WW, 18 g is still OK. Not sure how it compares to the Lezyne.

I can only assume the right-angle was added to accommodate tight spoke patterns. The Serfas does the same:|search
