Just came across this post. I need a layback on my bikes and this seems a light alternative to the WCS alloy ones Im using atm. The clamp looks safe as well.

Anyone else running one of these?

Yes, I have one and have had no complaints for the price and the weight. I needed layback as well and at the time there were few alternatives for light. The clamp works well enough, but not bomber like a Thompson obviously.

It's not a ton. I don't have it to measure at the moment, but maybe 25-35mm? I can try and have a look when I get home and put a ruler to it, if you like?

That would be great! I've been eyeing this post as it seems to be a great bargin in the seat back department, but I wasnt quite sure if it would have the same seatback as my bontrager(boat anchor we threw on for a race to get me in the right position). I run my saddle slammed back.

Bad news....I was way off. I measure only about 8mm layback. In comparison my Reynolds Ouzo Pro has 25mm layback. Sorry, bro.
