Had a Crank Brothers Cobalt disintegrate after a few rides and promptly sold the warranty replacement from CB. Went with an American Classic ISIS bb that is lighter and has lasted two and a half seasons so far. It needs to be re-greased once a year when it begins to make a clicking sound, then it is good for another season.

I'm in the middle of year 5 with my Ti Crank Brothers ISIS 113mm spindle BB. Ditto for one of their chromo BB's.

I use a Reset Ti BB, working fine for a year so far. Got it from http://hbtrials.com.

If you want a truely bullet proof ISIS, there is one player: SKF.

ya... my american classic ISIS has nothing but issues. I thought I would get away with it... as I don't normally pound the crap out of my gear. But it's dead... and constantly dying after changing the bearings out.

The 2x9 shifting sucked with the M970 Front derailleur and M970 shifters. I now moved to M985 front derailleur, and M980 left shifter pod and shifting is a huge improvement.

When I see a M985 crankset with 28/40 and 175mm length or a the new raceface turbine SL I'll move to that.

    This.^

SKF is the only ISIS BB worth buying. Their roller-bearing setup solved the problem other BBs have with their small balls.

    +rep for zahgurim and tbsmitty

SKF have a 10yr warranty on these BBs, they are the best hands down. A bit expensive but i was fed up buying mid priced crap ones. The ISIS SKF BXC600 are about $110, not a massive amount when you consider they are guaranteed for 10 years.
