    ExtraLite UltraDisc TNT wheelset (1220g)

Has anyone tried it? What are your impressions on it? Is it worth paying € 999 for?

You can already buy the notubes version that weighs 1210g for much less $$$.

The NoTubes ZTR Race 7000 series AC Wheelset has different hubs, different rims and different spokes. It has a recommended rider weight limit of 170 pounds, where the ExtraLite doesn't have any. Plus the AC hubs don't have great reviews.

I'm looking for a better option. That's why I'm asking for impressions on the ExtraLite UltraDisc TNT.

I really like the Extralite hubs and use them on my road bike...great hub! Don't have experience with the Pillar Ti Spokes. Tune also offers similar combos using Prince/Princess hubs, Sapin CX-Ray and either Olympic or ZTR Race 7000 rims.

The OLD AC hubs didn't have great reviews. I have 3 sets of the newer AC hubs myself and there are 16 sets of hubs running through my team for 3+ years of riding. No one has had an issue with the hubs at all.

Extralite rear hub is a joke. One of the worst mechanism I have ever seen.
