    Epic S-works - where's the fat?

Got a serious deal on a 2013 xtr sworks epic, and given my ww addiction, am wondering where the biggest weight savings might come from.

Rotors are the one item on the swap out list now (I've done grips and tires already).

You mentioned QR's and that reminded me that I've gone with a Control Tech Ti bolt on skewer up front and have a Syntace bolt-on axle for the rear on order.

As for pics, aside from the changes above, it is a stock black-out xtr model. It is begging for a set of siccc rotors, but I'd like to read some more reviews.

    .

You could go with a 1X setup. While the XTR components are light, you drop a shifter, FD and chainring.

You may also save a bit on grips. I'm not familiar with the ones listed in the bike's specs, but it's hard to beat foam.
