    Edge carbon seatpost head/clamp

Anyone use an Edge carbon post? Is the clamp/head easy to set up and does it actually keep the saddle in place?

I don't think the 30.9 is as light as the Performance Pro Forte but if I could find one at a great price it'd offset the weight weenie deficit and it'd look a whole lot better!

They work great as long as you use the updated install instructions they issued, with grease on the wedge assembly so it reaches the max torque and clamping pressure. They also increased the max torque spec on the clamping bolt. My 200 pound butt has yet to make it slip.

The full length weight on my 30.9 Enve/Edge setback post was 183gms.

Great! I see they have a 1 bolt and 2 bolt model. Which do you have, their site lists the 2 bolt as considerably lighter. Wonder why??

Odd, went to find pic/url for the seatpost options and now all I see is the one-bolt side model. Listed at 190g for a 30.9.

That's the one I want. Did find two other pics of diff looking 1 and 2 bolt designs. Wonder if old model or knock-off.

There is another 'company' called Edge, which is just rebranded Chinese stuff.
Is this what your talking about?
