We the people ... A close up of the Gipiemme saddle...

Absolutely beautifully made. 150g and very well padded! Quite comfortable, though my rear end is still getting used to the new shape...

    Enjoy!

I know in my heart that Ellsworth bikes are more durable by as much as double. AND they are all lighter...Tony Ellsworth

    We the people ...

Mine is the G-124 Max Ti

    Yep, beautifull!

Is your saddle cover leather? Or mesh like mine? Can't quite tell by the pic...

Same brand, different model, Codman has the Stealth max and Bender has the G-124, both are mesh covers with a mere 3 gr difference.
How do you (both) like them, are they confy, I'm thinking of a change from SLR gelflow to something more "honest" (claimed 185 gr real 210 gr) and Gipiemme looks like an honest option.

Looks like a good saddle for the weight. Did you use an SLR before this saddle? Hows the comfort?

As doccoraje pointed out both are mesh covers. Was yours 150g acutal or claimed? I think the only difference is yours has more padding than mine.

Sharp looking saddle-here's my Gippemme Pluma by the same company

It replaced my Flite bought in '91 and was still working! The Pluma is more comfy and slightly lighter at 163 grams.

Actually, the exact model name is G-124 Stealth Max Ti. It was weighed by gipiemme at 148g, and confirmed by me (on a precise scale) at 150g.

I don,t have enough mileage on it to make any comments about the comfort. But I'll definetly post again when I do!

No, I have never ridden a SLR, so I can't compare. But I can already tell you there is more padding on the Gipiemme than the SLR (can tell by touch).
