    Cables, Cables and More Cables

It's been a while, so I don't remember anymore, what cables are the lightest? Cable housings to be more specific. I remember a long while ago, there was a few posts that listed weights of different brands cables in grams per foot or meter. Not counting tune, I think Dura Ace derarileur cable was lightest, then Nokon, then Dura Ace brake cable housing, but I'm not sure. I

currently have Jagwire cables and housings. they look nice, clear jacket over the braided steel an all, but I suspect they are pretty heavy. The are significantly larger in diameter than shimano cable housings.

BTW, I'm not brave enough to run deraileur cable housing for brakes.

I know (if you can find them)

CLB housing, from France. No longer made. Wound aluminum, instead of steel like all others. www.bicycleclassics.com, or, of course, ebay.
