    bolt savings

hey weenies.... what kind of weight savings would I have if I tuned all my bikes bolts... That is: the XT R.D., the XT Hollotech f. D., the chainring bolts, the seat clamp bolts and the XT discs.... What kind of weight savings would I see, and where should I use Ti and where Alu... As of now i have no idea what the current stock bolts are made of, and don't know the sizes either

    thanks for any comments

click here. it should give you an idea, but about 150 grams. you use aluminium on non load bearing parts (derailleurs etc) and ti on load bearing parts (stem, seatpost etc)
