    Anyone Tune XT Hollowtech II??

    Hi,
I have run a XT Hollowtech II w/ outboard bearings..tuned it with Ti bolts on the crank arm, and Ti granny ring bolts....anything else I can to within reason? XTR runs 80 g lighter, but dont know how much I dropped on the XT with Ti hardware.
    Thanks!

The chainring nuts on the middle/big ring are steel. I replaced mine with the shorter Ti nuts from old XTR.

Aluminum would be lighter than Ti for the chainring bolts. Ti is stronger though.
