I just broke my Antares. It was the road version with carbon rails.
It split along the baseplate half way between where the rails connect to the base.
I got it for cheap so I am not crying. I need to replace it now and I want a light saddle that will not break from riding! I race a rigid bike in the rooty southeast and I have to sit while rolling small roots sometimes so it needs to hold my 160lb butt.
Do any of yall think this saddle would hold up to MTBing? I have one on the road bike, but It doesn't get abused much.
I am open to suggestions. It has to be semi light, white, and semi affordable, and it should not break under my ass. I understand crashing can ruin almost any saddle and I am okay with that.
Thanks for your help fellas!
