Anthem advanced 29er
Could I get some recommendation on shedding some weight off of my rig....
it's sitting at about 24.5lbs now:
Giant Anthem advanced 29er Med. (2555g)
RockShox Reba OD2 (1488g)
Race Face Turbine 28-40 (731g)
Shimano Shimano BB-91A Press Fit BB (73g)
Shimano XTR Brake (450g)
Shimano XTR Shifter (224g)
Shimano XT R Derailleur (223g)
Shimano XT F Derailleur (130g)
Shimano XTR Pedals (305g)
Shimano XT Cassette (337g)
Thomson Elite (250g)
Giant Stem SL (153g)
Giant Bar (262g)
Selle Italia (179g)
Stans Crest (1610g)
Schwalbe Racing Ralph (1070g)
ASHIMA WindCutter (132g)
Biggest/cheapest upgrade might be the handlebars. Should be able to save at least 100g with a carbon flat bar for < $100. These are a good example, although may be narrow depending on your preference:

I do have a new bar on the list, I had ordered a Hylix cheap carbon bar at 138g but when I was installing it, it made a lot of cracking noise and it wasn't even at the proper torque (using torque wrench) so I ditched it! Now I'm just not sure what to get.
easton haven bars are well respected. They are about 175g. You can find them onsale for 70-80.

Is this like bike anorexia?
