    Weird, I still can't get it to work, either by clicking on it, cut and paste, or typing it manually.

    How about using the IP address? Can you ping/tracert the server? www.evergreenmtbfestival.com maps to 184.173.196.184.

    How about a smartphone with a data plan rather than using your home network? (assuming you are doing it at home). Another browser too rather than Safari?

    If you can go to a terminal window and do a:

    ping 184.173.196.184
    tracert 184.173.196.184

    and then:

    ping www.evergreenmtbfestival.com

    to see if one of your browser, your DNS, your network, or your computer are inhibiting your connection, that would be good info to have.

    The ping and tracert output would look something like this (mine's from Windows 7):
    Code:
    c:\Tmp> ping www.evergreenmtbfestival.com

    Pinging evergreenmtbfestival.com [184.173.196.184] with 32 bytes of data:
    Reply from 184.173.196.184: bytes=32 time=50ms TTL=54
    Reply from 184.173.196.184: bytes=32 time=51ms TTL=54
    Reply from 184.173.196.184: bytes=32 time=53ms TTL=54
    Reply from 184.173.196.184: bytes=32 time=53ms TTL=54

    Ping statistics for 184.173.196.184:
        Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
    Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
        Minimum = 50ms, Maximum = 53ms, Average = 51ms

    Never mind the final name being different from evergreenmtbfestival.com; that is an artifact of the virtual hosting being used by the host of Evergreen MTB.

    I have also had luck with the site: Down For Everyone Or Just Me -> Check if your website is down or up? that can tell you if you are having solo troubles getting to a site or if it is down for other folks as well.

    Interestingly, it says it's down for others too. My guess is that there is a DNS propagation issue where some folks got the IP address properly and someone else didn't get anything. It is not odd that the IP address didn't work--virtual hosting again--it needs the name in order to map to the proper host root.

    Someone needs to contact Dreamhost about the page not being available to everyone; it's probably on their end.

    iPhone5 over LTE just loads a blank page each time, from both the IP and the evergreen link. Here's the ping data:

    I'm pretty sure the problem is the DNS for www.evergreenmtbfestival.com that is not functioning for you, based on the info given. You have access to the site via IP address and you get the same error screen I do using the raw IP address for the URL: http : //184.173.196.184/, since it requires the name to get to the real host directory.

    Now it doesn't work for me either--I get no IP address for www.evergreenmtbfestival.com now on a lookup. I also noted that the NSLookup information is now completely different:

    When it was working it was:
    Code:
    > set type=all
    > evergreenmtbfestival.com
    Server:  UnKnown
    Address:  192.168.1.1

    Non-authoritative answer:
    evergreenmtbfestival.com
            primary name server = ns1.artigma.com
            responsible mail addr = webmaster.artigma.com
            serial  = 2013022602
            refresh = 86400 (1 day)
            retry   = 7200 (2 hours)
            expire  = 3600000 (41 days 16 hours)
            default TTL = 86400 (1 day)
    evergreenmtbfestival.com        MX preference = 0, mail exchanger = evergreenmtbfestival.com
    evergreenmtbfestival.com        text =

            "v=spf1 +a +mx +ip4:184.173.196.184 ?all"
    evergreenmtbfestival.com        internet address = 184.173.196.184
    evergreenmtbfestival.com        nameserver = ns2.artigma.com
    evergreenmtbfestival.com        nameserver = ns1.artigma.com

    evergreenmtbfestival.com        nameserver = ns1.artigma.com
    evergreenmtbfestival.com        nameserver = ns2.artigma.com
    evergreenmtbfestival.com        internet address = 184.173.196.184
    ns1.artigma.com internet address = 184.173.196.184
    ns2.artigma.com internet address = 184.173.196.191
    And now that it isn't, it is:
    Code:
    > set type=all
    > evergreenmtbfestival.com
    Server:  UnKnown
    Address:  192.168.1.1

    Non-authoritative answer:
    evergreenmtbfestival.com
            primary name server = ns1.dreamhost.com
            responsible mail addr = hostmaster.dreamhost.com
            serial  = 2013051700
            refresh = 17429 (4 hours 50 mins 29 secs)
            retry   = 1800 (30 mins)
            expire  = 1814400 (21 days)
            default TTL = 14400 (4 hours)
    evergreenmtbfestival.com        nameserver = ns3.dreamhost.com
    evergreenmtbfestival.com        nameserver = ns2.dreamhost.com
    evergreenmtbfestival.com        nameserver = ns1.dreamhost.com

    evergreenmtbfestival.com        nameserver = ns3.dreamhost.com
    evergreenmtbfestival.com        nameserver = ns1.dreamhost.com
    evergreenmtbfestival.com        nameserver = ns2.dreamhost.com
    ns1.dreamhost.com       internet address = 66.33.206.206
    ns2.dreamhost.com       internet address = 208.96.10.221
    ns3.dreamhost.com       internet address = 66.33.216.216
    It's totally whacked. And as odd as I found it to have the same machine be one of the nameservers for the virtual hosts on that same machine, at least it worked. Now, it doesn't even have an IP address propagated for it!

    If you add the following two lines to your "hosts" file (maps names to IP addresses locally), you can get to the site as a temporary measure:

    Code:
    184.173.196.184	evergreenmtbfestival.com
    184.173.196.184	www.evergreenmtbfestival.com

    I've never been to a MTB event with demos before, so sorry if this is a stupid question. Do people usually have their own bikes there and swap their pedals around to the bikes you demo (or just bring their pedals) or do the demo bikes just have flats and you need to wear shoes for flats? Do most people bring their own bike for the day (for clinics, tours, etc) or just hop around from demo to demo for the day? I look forward to the event!!!
