I had a 8s over 3s full house last year but that was way too low to win anything...

WOW....This will be my first time riding the Stinky but if a full house is too low to win anything I'm sure glad we still get a beanie cap.

You gotta remember this is now THE biggest gathering of mountain bikers in the Seattle area at somewhere around 750 so the winning hands are going to be really high ones. (Hopefully they've found a way to stem the card trading cheaters now...)

Still a really good time. Picking up my packet at REI at lunch today.

I don't want to sound like a whiner but if it weren't for the entrance fee being so high I would totally do it. A little more than I can stand to put down right now though.

Just couldn't make myself stay around after that one free beer. I had to find my fingers and toes...

I think I fractured my tooth on that cookie at the last check point.

The weather was great..lol realized once I got back to the car that I'd left my change of clothes at home on the couch. Still enjoyed the beer though. My buddy kept the cookie in his pocket and it actually had ice crystals on it when we finished. Great ride!! I will be back next year! By the way I ended up with a rainbow 2, 4, 8, 10. Chose not to pick a card at the end in case someone needed something good. At least I conquered the "hill" with two other buddies and wore the "coaster" with pride.

7-Jack-10-9-9.... Was really hoping for an 8 the last stop. But, at that point, I was so cold and covered with snow, it really wouldn't have mattered. Still, an awesome time. I was lucky and noticed my coaster had fallen off at a stop and put it in my pocket. But, saw a few on the slushy ground in those last 3 miles. Not, like anyone would have stopped pedaling to pick them up...

Too many folks on the hill kept me from riding it all...ugh.

I also lost a Q card. Would have ended with pair of queens, pair of jacks and an 8. Nothing hand.

Trying figure out if I spent more energy peddling or shivering to stay warm...it is a mystery...

    Cheers,
    Mike

K,Q,2,3,4 for me. i looked at the top hand board and saw someone had 5 queens, and a bunch of people had 4 of a kind.

The ride was great fun, but heart-attack hill was somewhat of a let down. i kept hearing "nobody can ride up that"; but it really wasn't that tough. 3 of our 8 rode it, and another made it past the 3/4 mark. The best part of the ride was dodging traffic thru the watershed!
