    What a clear day brings

Odd that I never noticed this before. Nice little view south of Mount Rainier on the Beaver pond Trail now that it's been cleared. Just never noticed before and blaming it on the clouds. And, hard to look that way when bombing back down as well. Like the FT3K post logging area, learning to like the valley views and the sun sets on that side too....

Yeah, Brian and I noticed that when we were riding up to join you and Slop that day. Honestly, I think the view of the Olympics from there is even better.

Stopped half way down beaver pond trail a couple weeks ago early evening. It was partly cloudy, patches of low fog in the valley below, sun peaking through here and there and maybe a light sprinkle too. Totally awesome. I love that spot.

Getting dusty already. Lots of folks out this evening. Upper mud hole is fixed. (I hope.) One in our group saw a mama black bear with a cub on the lower portion of the trail last Saturday. So, make noise and heads up.

That had to be before I came down at 7:30 and after I had gone up about 3:30. Sure could see the new snow on Rattlesnake and Si though. Saw several small groups out and back at the lot. Up mucking out upper Bon Bon and started on Golden Spike....That will be some work... BP coming down was super fast.

It was around 40 per my bike computer, but it felt warmer than that. No cars when I got there or when I left, and didn't see another soul. The birds make a lot of noise that time of day compared to when I am usually out there. I don't think the trails could be in better shape. Super fun this morning.

That sounds like a perfect morning, I am hoping to do the same tomorrow. Cheers.
