I grew up in Cincinnati, so I've no complaints about the weather here.
There's a big difference between ripping and skidding. Those who skid don't know how to ride.

I'm stuck at work this weekend so not too bothered by the rain, but next weekend, that will be different!

Bump this thread in September when it hasn't rained for months and the complaints about dust, and heat, and so on...

It HAS been ridiculous the amount of rain though this particular off-season. Even in trail building you're hoping for rain, but not this much. You're hoping for 2-3 days of rain a week, not 6-7...

BC checking in: the weather has sucked in Vancouver and area for weeks too (however, the insistent rain means our mountains have tons of snow on them )

Pleh that's more of a curse as far as i'm concerned. i'm eager to get up into the high country and get some epic trail riding done to help lose this barrel of fat around my waist from no riding.
Last year we had to wait too long for the snow to melt, i fear the same thing again this year.
    :/
