Want to help your favorite USFS trails? Have a free weekday here and there?

    Greetings trail lovers,
Anyone interested in some weekday adventures on some awesome USFS trails? Several of our favorites are in need of some spring cleaning / clearing / brushing. A few on the list; Standup Creek (teanaway), Suntop (after it melts), Deep Creek (410), Mid Fork Snoq., Pete's Lake (cooper river), Kachess Ridge (late June, early July), Osbourne Mtn, Lower Big Quilcene, Skokomish River, and on and on.
I am always looking for willing partners for recon rides and clearing missions, especially midweek. let me know if this sounds like fun.

Not a lot of discussion on this thread.

I guess we're all working but if you have mid week time you guys will make a huge improvement with little extra effort and you will be riding your bike.

I contacted Bryan Connelly through Farcebok about this. I'm willing and able to get out next week, just waiting to hear back from Graham...

And I contacted Graham directly as well. I may be able to help out in the next few weeks with recon and brush work.

I've usually got M-W off, at least through the rest of this month. What time do you usually ride?

    yo dudes,

thanks for the interest, sorry for the delay in info, been out in the dirt. I am planning to go up Deep Creek from the bottom @ the white river trail on wed morning, with a chainsaw or two. leaving seattle around 6:30am or so, if anyone is up for it. If it's already been cleared of blowdown, please let me know.

    cheers, gt

Here's an opportunity for all the folks that want to put the backcountry back into bbtc (ummm, I mean Evergreen), so I'm sure they'll be beating down your door, Graham!

Note: I realize a handful of folks have already been clearing stuff along 410 and Mid Fork already.

ok descenders, Deep Creek (410) is clear of blowdowns, up to about 1/3 mile +/- of the intersection with Noble Knob trail. Persistent snow still clogs the trail above the bald knob (5600ft).
as soon as the snow melts out up high we can tackle Suntop and Noble Knob to ranger shelter (hopefully less downed trees than deep creek). stay tuned, gt ps , sorry bout the sideways pic, better w/ a saw than a pc
