Heads up that we put in a new entrance to Lower Crazy Ivan today. The original entrance was undercut and not safe. It was going to blow out and take someone (or a horse) with it. Because of the huge slash pile above the washed out section we couldn't just bench the trail in further, we had to move it.
Here's what it looked like after the logging. Sketchy.
The new entrance is just to the west on the other side of the slash pile. Marked by a rock pile and it's super obvious.
The original entrance is now decom'd.
We're still up there working on getting up Ivan into shape, and then eventually KGB. Lots of work to do, and I'll give a shout-out here to get more help once we buy more tools. We need a lot more tools since all our old stuff seems to be gone. More on that later.
