As compared to the upper parking lot, where your fees fund a gate to keep the lot from being used, thus preserving its better condition.

Lower lot was PACKED last night at 5:30. First time on SS, FR, and JR. Incredible job guys. Very techy and challenging. Need to ride SS more to get my speed up to clear those doubles. That long flow section that seems to go forever is really fun.

Would give anything to have a great downhill run that ends up in the parking lot like Tokul. NWT kills me after all the hard riding!

Everything is great and I love it all - thanks Tyler and everyone else.

My new favorite loop is out timber, up Joyride and FR, up the backside road, then back down summit and preston and down FR and joyride and timber.

Instead of up FR, go down SS, then climb the road to the summit!

I'm with Mr. L. a few posts back. A longish XC Iverson Loop would be really nice. I always finish riding at Tiger with an Iverson out and back, a long XC loop would be great.

1 last bump... several spots still open for this Sunday's WP, BBQ, Shuttle and Keg Day at Tiger. Spread the word!!

Work will focus on the 3 new trails and the new PBR (Preston Bailout) trail.

Out of the new trails, I LOVE Silent Swamp heading toward the bottom of Preston.
Did this today and it's close to Epic. You weren't kidding on the Crossover getting steep...in a demoralizing way I had not imagined. But made it up eventually and got my Summit Trail fix. Virtually gassed for FR/JR/NWTT but survived.

Agree on SS South to North is fantastic. Can't imagine going the other way. Also can't imagine climbing that hill again but I'm sure next time I'll be stronger/better/faster. Great day.

    Here's the route and stats.

Add Iverson in to really put the hurt on! Going to be building a trail next to the steep part of the Crossover Road soon. It will be a nice by-pass of that steep and large/deep gravel rd segment.

Another side note, I glad to here that 99% of people are likely whats been happening on Tiger. Anyone like the new work on the 2nd to last segment of Preston?

I havent seen the new work yet. It was a river last time i was out there.
I ride with a lot of different people and i dont know many who really enjoy Iverson. I think the combination of the long gravel road to the trailhead followed by a climb that never seems to end, all for a 90 second downhill part. Now if there was singletrack from the parking lot to the trailhead it might change peoples minds.

There is singletrack from the parking lot, out and back! HAHA
The trail has tech climb, most people don't like tech climb, I think that's why is an overlooked trail.

I like Iverson. I usually do it from south to north. The steep bit near the parking lot is a bit much for me on the way up, and the fire road over to the far end is kind of a nice warmup. I cleaned a lot more stuff than usual last time, so I felt good about that.

I also do the NW Timber then up Preston route on occasion. Usually not when the parking lot is full because it's less fun when it's full of descending riders.

I've done Crossover. Yeow. Definitely better just to climb Preston!
