    Test of Metal anyone?

Heading up to the Test of Metal middle of June and was wondering if there were any other peeps from the area going up.
    Ride share?
Thinking of leaving Friday mid day to beat traffic and then head back after the race or come back Sunday morning.
I live in the Ballard area but willing to pickup or be picked up.
    Pm if interested.

As an aside, not sure if you've done the Test before, but... it's changed. Technical parts have been neutered in many ways. Rode part of the course yesterday, and coupled with comments from friends in Squamish, here's my thoughts:

    - Lava Flow, Ring Creek Rip are essentially logging roads now.
    - Plunge is 100% rideable - noticeably smoother, with new woodwork/bridges
    - Crumpit woods mostly unchanged, but lots of logging/clearing for new housing development near the end. Summer's Eve trail is simply... gone.

The Test will still be a hellish cramp-fest, but I think it's going to be more of a test of fitness more than anything else.

A bit last minute, I know, but I don't suppose anyone is going up for this year's ride with space for rider + bike? From Vancouver?

My lift has fallen through and I'm stuck (no car) and cab fare is prohibitive.

Share of gas, post-ride grub and drink on me, of course!

    Cheers (in hope).
