    Taylor Mountain brush situation?

Has anyone been out to Taylor Mountain recently? If so, has it been brushed back yet? I was out there about a month ago and it was getting REALLY bad then so I can't even imagine riding there if it hasn't been taken care of yet. Thanks!

I was out there about 2 weeks ago, and some of the trails were great, and others were barely visible. I updated the conditions here: Trail:Taylor Mountain - Evergreen Trail Guide

If anyone else has newer info, please post an update.

Cool, thanks for the info. I just heard back from a friend who works for King County and manages Taylor. They have started brushing and will continue working on it. Apparently Spring Lake is now brushed back as well, I will update that on the EMBA site as well.

    Re: Taylor Mountain brush situation?

Yep, majority of trails are brushed and riding well. Only thick areas are carey creek trail, parts of boot, and a few sections of the upper system. Carey and boot are still rideable and better than the logging road. Upper trails are loaded with loose, large rocks and feel like riding in a creek bed. The lower/mid trails are a blast to ride now that you can see them. Mt. Beaver is riding very fast as usual, just be careful to not hit horses or hikers. I had a near hit myself on friday coming down holder ridge.
