Silent Swamp - An Evergreen Trail Building Mockumentary

    Hey Y'all,

Enjoy this tongue-in-cheek look at how the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance is serious about sustainable trail building. Plus get a sneak peak at the new Silent Swamp / Preston to NW Timber connector trail - slated to open summer 2013 on East Tiger Mountain.

If you’d like to see this new trail opened sooner than later, please do come on out and help us get ‘er built. Tyler and Bryan have got work parties scheduled for every weekend, and every Wednesday, now through early March. We need to put in a good push now so we can ride this baby before the season is over.

Find the next work party on our calendar at Evergreen MTB Calendar

    Thanks for supporting the cause!

Very nice. I'll definitely be out for some trail work in the next couple weeks. Can't wait for tiger to open again this year.

Do you guys only want volunteers on scheduled volunteer days? I could be dedicating 1-2 days a week to helping you guys out...

    Seriously funny video, poor Mike....
There's a big difference between ripping and skidding. Those who skid don't know how to ride.

Great session on the trail yesterday. Going to be some good options for making it tech if you want.

Actually, our guys are out there most days and would be happy for the help any time you're available. Drop Tyler an email to coordinate at tyler @ evergreenmtb.com (no spaces of course). Thanks!

I did some trailwork for a few hours on Sunday and Tyler showed up all the new stuff. It is incredible and it is really going to transform the mountain. There are going to be a TON of options and you wont have to do the same old loop we have done for years. You could probably even get 15 miles of riding in without even climbing to the summit!

It'll be nice to get the soupy switchback knocked out. Once that is dry and holding up the rest looks like it will be easier to work right behind the machine. We got a start on it yesterday, but it has a ways to go.
