Hey All,
The SCORP (State Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan) Town Hall has a new question posted to the public regarding wetlands. This is another opportunity to provide comments to let your state government know what your outdoor recreation priorities are.
I can think of several bike trail networks that feature a wetland (Grand Ridge, Soaring Eagle, etc). To me, trail networks are a great way to preserve wetlands - and really any natural area - because they provide a community connection to the land, and user groups that support preservation of those areas through votes and volunteer hours.
If you'd like to add a comment regarding your thoughts on the symbiotic relationship between bike trails and wetland parks, you can do so here:

Only takes a minute, and these comments really go make a difference during the state government planning process.
