SCORP Town Hall - Latest Question Needs your Response.

Mt bikers, please chime in with your response to the next question.

Public recreation managers have to decide whether to spend their limited money on maintaining facilities or on providing new opportunities by developing new facilities or buying land. What is the best way to balance between these competing priorities?

    WA SCORP Town Hall

IMO, when smart land managers partner with groups like Evergreen WMBC, Backcountry horsemen, etc, they greatly reduce the management costs and efforts. Also, when you have groups invested in the areas, they also work hard to preserve and protect those spaces.

    Cheers,
    EB

Done. Not really a mtb-specific question, and I didn't give an mtb-specific response, but there was some mtb-specific hate going on (from an unsurprising source), so it would be good if more from this community chime in.
