RR: Ancient Lakes March 25 2013

Sunny. Warm. No wind. A little horsed up here and there, but other sections on top smooth and rolling fast. Almost looks like someone has been clearing some of the chunk out of the way.

Hmmmm, it IS that time of year... Thinking I'd rather park at the lakes up top next time.

Awesome landscape. I've always been fascinated by the Coulees. I would love to join you guys for a ride out there one of these days and get some shots of that place.

me and a buddy did this February 23, it was awesome we followed the map on evergreen. We made it to the abandoned house and took a break the went right instead of left went all the way to the powerpole and got turned around and had to backtrack all the way down back to the house and back down, i think we put in a good 20miles. One of the best rides ever.

I'll bet! Back in the prehistoric MTB days we'd come back from sagebrush riding out by where the wind farm is now, and you either couldn't feel your arms any more or they were on fire from the hands up to the elbows.

Love my 5.5" Ibis, it takes care of me.
