I'm guessing the safest place at Riverside is Bowl and Pitcher and Beacon is probably safer at the golf course or above my house at Sekani.

riding near spokane with fairly safe parking

The 7 mile trailhead at riverside is another one I consider to be ok; the government way one on the west side of the river is the only one I know of that I don't feel comfortable parking at.

Peter, I have heard there are still occasional smash and grabs at the Sekani lot. There is so much more use now I was hoping that this wasn't much of a problem anymore. What is your take on it?

Oh - you don't want to leave bags in your car anywhere in this town. Sucks, I know.

LOL. Local riding is great, but unfortunately you have to be smart about parking at trailheads; like most cities I know.

As far as Sekani, I don't think it has gotten any better although I haven't heard much recently.
