    Newbie seeking trail advice

    Hi,

I recently bought GT Transeo 4.0. I have never ridden on unpaved trails before. I would like to test the bike on unpaved trails before I decide to keep it. This bike has 700x40c Innova LandTracker tires which are not as wide as mountain bike tires but wider than regular hybrid ones. It also has 63 mm fork. Detailed specifications at http://media.gtbicycles.com/media/t/r/transeo_40.pdf

I was wondering if I can take this bike to St Edwards - Seminary trail?
Also, it would be great if someone can suggest more trails (unpaved), around Seattle, apt for me and this bike.

    Thanks

Yep, that would be a perfect place to start, along with the arrowhead trail there. There's an unpaved trail that's mostly flat and runs around the outside of Green lake as well, might be worth a try just to get used to the feel of dirt.

You can run any trail, it takes more skill and line picking. I took my cross bike on Preston and Fat hand ten years ago with out issue..
