    Nason ridge

We tried riding up Nason Ridge from Lake Wenatchee to the lookout but got turned out by deep snow less than a mile from the top.

The climb to Round mt (marked with HC on the Strava map) was mostly clear with just a couple patches of snow at the top (first pic). It's 6.5 miles and a little steeper than Devils Gulch at the top but also shorter so I would recommend it for this weekend.

Going beyond the trail junction at Round mt is probably a bad idea. The views get better but the trail gets steeper and the snow deeper. Although, the top of the ridge at the lookout might actually be clear. Also you can ride thru most of the snow on the way down (it's steep enough).

    Going around the Round mountain:

    Can't really ride this uphill:

That's Glacier peak in the background:

Ha, I was at the lake there with the kids today instead of riding. Was that trail singletrack?
