    Metaline, Metaline Falls?

Might be working there late spring/early summer. Anyone been around there?

Kettle Crest is close for the days off if I don't come home. I'm wondering about right around Metaline for after work. I haven't dug the USFS maps out yet, but will.

There are trails near Sullivan Lake although the better ones won't be snow-free till summer. The Salmo-Priest wilderness also limits your options but you might be able to find something.

Just head north a bit further and go into Nelson. Seriously, it's a bit further, but well worth the extra push.

If you're riding a DH bike Nelson is great but otherwise Rossland would be better.

Agree 100%, but both are stellar.

The trails in Rossland are like gold!! Seven Summits might not be melted out by late spring though. In Nelson you could ride "Skiers Right" which is like all of around 1.5 miles ALL DAY LONG. It's just that good.

There's also some SICK singletrack out near New Denver. I think Lee Lau posted a RR on NSMB about 18 months ago. Bring bear spray...alot of it....

I agree with the Rossland Town Trails suggestion - all day long riding. But the question is will these trails be melted out by April? I'm not so sure. They are close to the same elevation as the base of Red Mtn.
