    Looking for a Ti Welder

Anyone know of a bike builder west of the Cascades? I've got a titanium hardtail and I would like to see if someone cound replace the drop out with sliders.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Yep. Bill's been doing Ti for a while. He's the most accomplished frame builder in Seattle. He's pretty low key, but does a quality product.

    Thanks everyone. I contacted:

R+D - Super nice, but they must be good since there is about a 8 week wait. Put my name on the list if something opens up.

333 Fab - Again super nice, but he was honest in that a retrofit to sliders is fraught with too many pitfalls, that he wasn=t interested. I love honesty.

Vasago - I know its Portalnd but I respect them. I respect them more now. Even though he did not want to attemp it either, he spent about 15 minutes on the phone with me. Mucho respect here too.

Elliot Bay - Indicated they could take a look, but not nearly as friendly as the others. That doesn't mean good or bad, just an observation. I might stop by this week with the frame for them to look at.

All in all, not sure this grand plan to put sliders on the bike is either possible, a good idea, or even cost effective. It might be better to just get a new frame.

    Thanks for the suggestions all.
