I5 Colonnade mtb park meet up, need a bike

My wife and I are visiting Seattle for a month and happen to be staying across the street from the Colonnade Park. Amazing! Does anyone meet up on weekday afternoons? Any ideas how I could get ahold of a bike? Might need to buy one, then sell before we leave. Thanks!

Have you looked at renting a bike? Try Montlake, just over Capitol Hill on 23rd Ave E. Or maybe Velo on Mercer Is for something higher end.

I would definitely try Montlake Cycle. I'm sure Gary or Ben can help you out.

    Hey guys,
Recycled Cycles is very close to where you are staying, and they rent bikes. You never know you might even find a used bike you can't resist. Not very many people go to Colonnade lately, it's a shame it's a cool project that they did there. and just watch out for the homeless in there, the less people ride in there the more homeless will go there because it's covered. I should say that the times I have stopped by while driving through Seattle nobody's been there, I don't know it's weird.

Yeah, it is weird. We've seen nobody in the week we've been here. I'd be all over it!

Colonnade has been kind of deserted since Duthie Hill opened up. I like the 'Nade and wish it were better maintained, but with all Duthie (plus Tiger, Tokul etc.) have to offer just 20 min. away it's not getting much love.

So make sure you get a chance to check out Duthie while you're in town!

Rented a Kona Blast at Recycled Cycles and hit the park. Very cool! Mostly beyond my skill level, but I'm glad I did it anyway. Recycled is a great store with really nice people. Highly recommend.
