I have that one stashed around a few places out there as well as the orange plastic handled one I usually carry on the left side of my pack, handle up, blade away. With that handy plastic tooth cover of course...

Do you ride trails that permit using a handsaw? All my local trails state that maintenance is only to be done by xxx.....

Reminder: This thread is about how to carry an 18" handsaw on your bike which seems implausible yet this time of year its usefully fashionable.

    Add flair to your ride!

And perhaps consider the Thomas Crown Affair...

    RE: Handsaw Mounted On Bike

I have a Gerber foldable hand saw that works great. Long blade, enough to rip through most branches on windfalls. The blade locks open or closed and has a nifty case. After a wind storm, sometimes I'll bring my 12v Milwaukee sawzall and a huge blade with teeth dedicated for branches. Makes for quick cleanup work.

    PVC Handsaw Mounts

I made mounts for a couple of handsaws using split PVC pipe and a heat gun. Both mount to water bottle fittings.

This one for a Silky Bigboy 14" saw is made from 1" Schedule 40 pipe:

The strap is probably unnecessary due to the tight fit of the mount, but it insures that the blade cannot open (it doesn't lock closed) and the saw cannot come out of the mount.

This one for a Corona 10" saw was made from 1" thin wall PVC:
