    Grand Ridge Meeting

Mike, Art and I met with KC Parks and WTA to discuss plans for upcoming WTA work on the reroute north of GR Drive. They wanted to check with us about corners and bike friendly layout. The 13 days of WTA work will stair next Tuesday and focus on connecting the reroute to the existing trail so the county can decommission the old trail with an excavator. Evergreen will then fix one of the turns later. The tour took us about 2 hours of standing around in the cold. Well worth missing a day of work as this was an important meeting. One of the WTA crew leaders noted that more riders showing up would lead to better trail. I know it's the holiday season but this is the time that's been scheduled so we need to make the best of it and get more turn out.

Note that WTA has been working all through the cold.
There's a big difference between ripping and skidding. Those who skid don't know how to ride.

Rode it today, frozen dirt is the best.
