The part-time position is going to be confusing, so here's the scoop...
Weekends. It's all about getting a team of crew leaders together so we can run multiple weekend work parties at multiple locations. Weekends are obviously when we get the highest volunteer turnout. So we're looking for multiple people.
Funded New Trail Projects. The focus is initially on completing Duthie and the first new trail at Tiger. Then the next new trail at Tiger will pick up and we'll start ramping up for South Fork Snoqualmie. We're also working on other new potential opportunities, so want to be ready to go with a team of experienced leaders if & when they they happen.
Work Schedule. The work days & hours for the part-time position is all pretty flexible. The only requirement for hours: the candidate must be able to work at least 2 weekend days per month. More is better. There will also be some work on weekdays. We'll work it out with each candidate.
So if you love trail building, you're good at it, you can lead a team of volunteers and you've got some time on weekends... you could get paid for it! Spread the word! Check out the job description (Part-Time Seasonal Trails Crew Leader Wanted) and shoot me a resume.
