The sad news is that after 2.5 years with Evergreen, Stacy has announced that she's going to be stepping down in June. She has done an amazing job of supporting MTB in our state and will be sorely missed and I hope you'll join me in thanking her for her great work and endless energy. Amazing things are happening in WA and we wouldn't be there without her!
There's a silver lining for the right person though; it means we're hiring for a full-time Communications and Community Manager!
Evergreen's success in growing mountain biking in Washington comes largely from having an informed, engaged, and motivated community. The Communications and Community Manager will be responsible for all aspects of communications, marketing, and community building - .
As a lean non-profit the duties of this position are broad and will require a diverse set of skills. These duties include, but are not limited to: website, email and print communications; social networking; PR; marketing planning; managing volunteers; overseeing event planning; maintaining relationships with sponsors and partners, and more.
You must be an experienced mountain biker, okay that should be obvious! A high skill level is not required but a multi-year history of riding and a passion for Evergreen's mission is mandatory.
Position open until filled; however applications received by May 21 receive priority review. Learn more at our website
