East sider seeking some Duthie/Issaquah info for a weekend trip

K folks, I'm going for it - signing up for the Shaums March ICP/IMBA coach certification course at Duthie in a few weeks.
Is there camping there? If not, what's the accommodation situation in the vicinity? Any info appreciated.
    Thx
    Formica

Formica, the best camping may be at Tolt-MacDonald Park outside Carnation. Not too bad either. There is also the RV park outside Fall City which may actually be closer. But, not as nice. IMHO. Let us know where you end up, I'd like to stop by and bring beverages and catch up...

I should probably look that up on a map.... but it's easier to ask ya'll. What kind of mileages from Duthie are we talking about?
If I were to motel it... what then? Thanks for the pointer and I"d take you up on a how-de-do and all that.

(8 miles, I looked it up)

Hmmm, not sure of any motels close to Doofie. You'd have to head down to Issaquah I believe. Can't recall any on the plateau closer. Anyone? If you are at Tolt, you can ride there or across the valley at Tokul. Maybe I'll get the clearance to ride by then and can show you around.
