    Dungeness Gold Creek current conditions

Does any one know the current condition of the Dungeness Gold Creek Loop?

A few friends and I are looking for a place to ride this weekend. We are staying on Whidbey Island and are planning to ride Ebey, ACFL and Orcas.

We were also wondering about ride opportunities in the Olympic Rain Shadow. We are not opposed to a ferry ride and a bit of a drive, if it means a good ride in slightly drier conditions.

Is there any other 10+ mile mountain bike rides in the area that would be rideable this weekend?

Not sure, but you're knocking down some of the best riding this time of year affords.
Usually you're alright by this time of year, but we did have that really wet cold front just a few weeks ago, and even though it's been warm it's hard to say.

As far as blowdown/deadfall, we've come to enjoy the hard work of local riders who are anonymous to me, but seem to get in there annually to make sure the loop is clear. i really don't really recall ever a time i've had to hop a tree the numerous times i've enjoyed that run.
