How about a "dry" non bike park location but maybe that is just wishful thinking.

It was pouring at my house near Thorp this AM. Fortunately the new hot/dry weather system we've got moving in might be starting to take hold as it's let up here in Roslyn for the past few hours.

The only downside: within a few days lower county could be hitting triple digits. So much for giving us time to acclimate.... yeesh.

Bummer, I was hoping Rat PAC would at least be dry this weekend. Didn't think about the heat though.

Oh it could be dry enough by Saturday if we get the heat and sun like they're saying.

I rode JW last Friday when it had been raining all over here, and it was bone dry dirt although a bit of dew on the plants (esp lupine). I'd watched the rain cells rolling over the area all week so it had apparently just sucked all the water up indifferently.

Rat Pac was in perfect shape this afternoon with hero dirt the whole way down and very very few slick spots. The trail is in great shape after getting a little work last weekend too.

Yup- sorry I got distracted, but I rode the ridge today and it was all rolling amazingly well. Tomorrow is gonna be the money shot IMO.
