Act NOW to protect trail funding!

We need your help now to ensure that the Recreational Trails Program is protected! We've been careful not to ask for action before while RTP went on a roller coaster ride in Congress but now is the time you can make a difference to save trail funding worth millions of dollars.

We're asking you to contact Washington's US Senators with a very simple ask. Timing is critical as the Senate will likely be considering this bill early this week.

Learn more, including the contact info, on Evergreen's site.

    Thanks,
    Glenn

There's a big difference between ripping and skidding. Those who skid don't know how to ride.

    Good News About RTP!
As you know, we asked folks to contact their senators recently to protect Recreational Trails Program (RTP) funding (go here for all the details Recreational Trails Program Needs Your Help). A huge number of people took action, and thanks to the combined response of the recreation community, our senators voted in favor of the amendment!

It has now passed the senate, along with the transportation bill. There’s still work to be done because the Senate and House versions need to be reconciled, but we’re pleased to see RTP is in both. Your voices helped make a difference. Thank you!

This is really great news. RTP unfunded would really have killed alot of recreation, which would hurt small communities we go to and enjoy our mt. biking. But also hikers, trail runners, llama packers whatever yer into.

Having fun is actually good for the economy, who woulda thunk it? With so much feedback speaking in unison we let them know we're out here doing our thing.

    Goes a long way.
