    2011 Indie Series???

I saw a tentative calendar on the Mountain Bike Washington forum for the 2011 Indie Series but so far the website hasn't been updated since July of 2010. Anyone know if the dates confirmed or still tentative?

Doesn't look confirmed yet. www.buduracing.com puts on a decent local late winter spring series. and there's a MTB time trial at Tapeworm, if your looking for some racing.

I'm interested too. All I've heard is that there are probably going to be 6 races.

    Can anyone else confirm this?

Only thing I know is Galbraith isn't looking good this year due to the upcoming logging. Not sure if Mark will move it back to Padden or what his plans are.....

The firm calendar in the next few weeks-but as it stands right now:

Bellingham Mountain Bike Festival-Galbraith Mountain May 7th, 2011
Whidbey Mudder May 22nd OR 21st TBD, 2011
    Leavenworth Bike & Brews June 4th, 2011
Methow Cycle & Sport Challenge at the Loup June 25th & 26th, 2011
Padden MTN Pedal July 17th, 2011 (potentially July 24th to accomodate Natz folks)
Race in Port Angeles Date TBA
I guess port Angeles will kick off the season around may 1st Dry Hill. Keep checking with MBW..

If the festival doesn't happen, then yeah the Super D would be out too. Not sure if Mark would just move the xc race over to Padden or what his plan will be. Still TBD as we're meeting with the land manager and the logging company in a week or so to go over the final details of the upcoming harvest.

In the past, I've done Indie, BuDu, and Wednesday Night races. I'd say that all three of these series are usually pretty well-attended.

Nothing definite yet, but it doesn't look great with the amount of logging that might happen.

Also interested in the wednesday night worlds. I'm new to the area and don't know much about it. Seems pretty informal.

Is there a website I could check out? I couldn't find anything.

    Thanks guys

The web site's down. It used to be wednesdaynightworlds.com. That's why I was asking if anyone had any information, further up the thread.

Evergreen often has a Tuesday night training ride. They do a course that runs 18.5-40ish miles, depending on options. There's also a criterium series on Thursday nights in Seward Park. So depending on whether the MTB part or the racing part is more important to you, those are some good options.
