Roanoke IMBA Kick-Off Party: 2/24/12

You're invited to help kick-off Roanoke IMBA --a newly forming chapter of IMBA! Our region covers Roanoke and surrounding counties including Montgomery and Blacksburg. Blue 5 will be offering a select menu and specials, so bring your appetite and thirst for the 46 bee...rs on tap.
The current board will introduce themselves and talk about where RIMBA stands now. We'd also like to hear from you, so bring your thoughts and visions for the future of mountain biking in our area.

This meeting/party (meeting, then party) will be Friday, Feb 24, 6:30 pm, at Blue 5 in Roanoke.

I highly encourage riders in the area to attend this, as we will be eliciting input to inform the club's direction.. If you cannot come, but would have something you would like to contribute, or even just talk and learn more about this, feel free to PM me.

Thanks so much to all that came out last night.

Turnout was fantastic!! I would estimate ~90 folks in attendance (including the 8 putting on the event), which really had the place packed. For most of the evening the membership table was swamped with people joining and just wanting to talk about the mtb scene and how to make it truly great. I had no voice by the end of the evening, but it was awesome!!
