    Trail work next week at Avalon. Last one of the year.

    Patapsco Valley State Park - Maryland

    when you say pavilions, do you mean the picnic area after the initial run down from the park and ride...before you'd start climbing back up or bike down to the paved path?

    I don't believe that is the area. What I think he means is after entering the park from Route 1 (by car), you turn left at the T, then turn right into the parking lot. There is a playground there, and at least two big covered pavilions.

    gotcha..i rarely enter from that part of the park, but i know where you mean.

    Drevil's got it right, big pavillions on the HoCo side of the river by the playground.
