    northern virginia shuttle dh's

Several of my friends and me are big downhillers and we have yet to find any good shuttles in our area. Anyone recommend any downhill trails around nova (within 2 hours) that can be shuttled easily with a 2wd ? thanks

Check out Reddish Knob or Elizabeth Furnace. Of the two, Reddish Knob has the longer downhills. I believe infor on both is in the trail review section.

    Ski areas?

You may also want to check out the ski areas around. Wintergreen (near Charlottesville) has lifts, and I think so does Whitetail (near PA/MD border). Also check out the Harrisonburg area Massanutten is there, and there are some very active riders out of the Sheanendoah bike shop that may be able to point you in the right direction.
