I'm cross posting this from the SC thread.
Please without getting into which brand is better.
A little background, I mainly ride the greenway trail at lunch, so it's pretty tame.
But as time frees up this spring, I'd like to get back to riding Schaeffer Farms, Patapsco etc..
Maybe even one or two trips to Showshoe.
So, I had a Stumpjumper FSR and admittedly liked the way it handles when I pointed it downhill. What I didn't like was the way it climbed.
I test rode a Al TBLT and noticed it was nimbler and climbed much better than the SJ.
But at some point I convinced myself to go with the TBc w/120mm Fork instead of the TBLTc.
I have an opportunity to get an LTc frame for basically an even swap no extra money.
I have a Fox 34 140mm laying around so I could swap all the parts over.
Just looking for opinions. I keep flip flopping on the LTc being too much bike for the area.
