    A little Virginia help?

    Hi all,
I'm going to be traveling to Va for a work trip and have a couple of free days to spend mountain biking. I'll be in the Arlington area Thurs-Sat. I was thinking Foutainhead looks good. Can anyone give advice? I need to figure out 1.) Where to rent a decent bike 2.) Where to stay in the area- I've never been to Va, what are the areas to avoid etc. I need to end up in Arlington so am looking in that general vicinity.

Thank in advance for any help, if any one ever need Florida advice info I'd be happy to return the favor.

    Adam

Driving or flying? If you're driving Richmond has some great spots to ride and is right off of 95.

The Bikelane in Burke rents their Niner demo fleet. It is relatively close to Fountainhead. Stay-wise, I'd say off 95/395. Fountainhead closes at dark, so if you plan on evening rides, you'll need to change plans.

Where at in Arlington do you need to be for work? Best to stay close to that. Driving is horrendous around here, especially during rush hour.

Edit: Here's the Fountainhead facebook page. They are good at updating the trail status. Always good to check that before riding there. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fount...07150099413259
