    Kennison Mt. conditions?

Heard some unconfirmed reports of Kennison being utterly littered with large downed trees after Sandy. Apparently worse than the hundred or so we took off the trail back in '05 or '06. Anyone been up there since Sandy?

And yes, reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Davis, since nobody else is jumping on board I will share heresay. Last I heard it was in pretty good shape, at least by Monang. standards. That's from some Roanoke folks that rode there a couple of times last year and once this year.

Thanks for the report, Pisgah. CCR, keep post in' those ride pics, although they are soooo bittersweet. Wish Douthat was still just a stone throw away..... Planning on opening a taqueria/tapas/cocktail bar next year. I'll have to have the shufflers up for an old time soiree for the kickoff.

Sounds good. Shufflers can usually be bribed with alcoholic beverages and such. Wing night was always a favorite.

I would sure like to ride Kennison again sometime.

If it works out Outdoornut will be passing through town Friday and we are going to try and hook up for at least a visit. He is off on his Moto somewhere til then.

Davis is alive and posting! Have you been riding any? Can't wait to get boards out.

Not as much as I'd like, and when I do its on the skinnies. Was thinking of you when we rolled past Cacapon on the way to and from OBX earlier this month. I know what you mean about the boards, I'm already having the dreams of carving fresh powder. Time to get out the wax and files...
