Thinking of hitting fair hill ,heard anything about the conditions over there?i just started riding like 3months ago and didn't even know elk neck had riding trails till a buddy of mine asked if I've been there and still haven't been. Sad part is I've lived around that area my whole life.
I rode the gravel roads at Fair Hill on Sunday just before the snow/rain started. Not ideal, but the singletrack did not look rideable at any of the trailheads I passed. I just felt good to get out and put some miles on the bike. There were others out there as well and I think they were like me and stayed away from the singletrack trails. If yesterday's snow melts this week, the gravel trails should be rideable again this weekend. Gonna be a few weeks before the S/T is ready IMO.
Rode elk neck for the first time last week.
Trail was dry except for maybe 2 large mud bogs.
