That's a good question. I believe that items on the list are prioritized based on urgency/importance and number of volunteers available. Priorities also tend to change with the seasons. For example, there isn't much need for trimming in the winter so the focus shifts to building.

I walked most of Redd Park and found minimal amounts of debris and one downed tree. Others visited White Clay and Middle Run but I didn't get to those reports. I would guess that the trails are damp with some debris and a few trees here and there.

I rode from middle run into white clay yesterday. The trails were dry with the exception of the normal isolated wet spots. There was one tree down on the bryant's hill trail just north of the chunnel, and two along the whitely farm trail. The new bridge at the chunnel washed downsrteam and lodged on the next bridge which was actually shifted out of line by the force of the water.

Sorry for the delay. I've been a bit busy. I am sure someone has it on the list of priorities to get the bridge back where it belongs and to rebuild the ramps. If, for whatever reason we don't get to it during the regularly scheduled work party, I will be sure to get to it with my team sometime soon.

Thanks again for the report. I removed the small bridge from underneath the other bridge and I repacked the ramps a bit. It should do for now. Jim Ireland and I also made sure that the bridge connecting the Tri-Valley trail to Middle Run was repaired. It may seem a bit higher now than before but we expect it to settle into position.

It would help me a lot if you guys would post your trail reports in the WCC-MR Trail Maintenance/Building thread. This way I will be able to have a central location for all reports regarding these trails so that I may get the information to those that need it.

How's the weather been up there? My wife wants to take a trip up to the trails (we're coming from Baltimore). It's been a little damp down here; wondering how the trail conditions might be.

They are okay but, unfortunately, we are expecting rain. Check zip code 19711 for a forecast.

Not good. Pouring right now (1030 Friday) at Middle Run and forecast is for rain all weekend.

Sorry, wish I could control the weather

Heading up to Wilmington this weekend to visit my wife's aunt, hoping to bring the bike along. How much rain have you guys gotten? How are the trails holding up?

It looks like rideonenine.com hasn't updated their trail conditions since the end of August...
