Yes, I am outing this Yeti Ultimate

I've got no cash, nor am I really a Yeti guy.

If I can assist someone with deeper pockets, who wants it, I can check it out, pick up, box, ship, whatever. This was done for me by another forum member, and it was greatly appreciated, so I'm paying it forward.

This is half way between my place, and my girlfriends, and I pass it twice a week.

If no one is excited, well, there you go.

Very true, but if you look at the prices that old high end BMX bikes are going for it's almost a bargain.

The frame & fork in the pic sold for $5,900 + shipping

I thought it was a tad high, but I don't follow them, just know that they are lusted over by a subset of folks on here.

So the sellers hitting the pipe too hard on this one then?

Ah well, can't say I didn't try to help rehome it at least...

Here's one I keep seeing on my local craigslist. Not as old as the OP's find, but kinda neat nonetheless.

I remember when those were being sold at closeout prices in 2000 or 2001 by one of the catalog companies (Performance, I think). I wanted one so bad!

That thing is flexing laterally just from looking at the pic on line. I donīt doubt the handling but the longevity of those pivots.

Don't know what it is about this relative shade of turquoise, teal, celeste, but despite not needing any new to me bikes, every time I see a Yeti or Bianchi in the color, my pulse quickens a little....

Apples / Oranges. Yeti literally made thousands. Asking price is double what it's worth. Anyone super jonesing for an Ultimate should just wait 6 months for one to go the distance on ebay.

I rode one of these for 10 minutes in 1990 or so. A racers bike - I couldn't believe how heavy and flexy it was. To this day i'm still stunned by how bad a bike it was. Marketing over reality.
