I dunno, but now I do know that Kona lied about inventing sloping top tube geometry in 1988.

I think there are others who claimed to have invented that as well.

kbell, it is not worth anything...enter the Darkside of The Force's mind control techniques via Vader's right hand...you will sell it to me, for a song, and you will be happy about it. hehehe It should fetch some coin, but it seems most people are deterred against Cannondale because of all the frame failures they have experienced over the years. Good luck with the sale. Shoot me an email if you are unsuccessful in your 'For Sale' efforts.

    It's worth 5 figures.

    IMO, keep the bike.

Any solicitation that pop's up in this thread, and it gets pulled.

Are you serious about the 5 figures?
It's the only bike I've managed to keep over the years out of dozens.
I have no idea why I have kept it for so long.
I have considered getting a custom Pink bike with current the pink craze going on

No, I'm afraid I'm not. Just joshin' ya a bit.

Pink is in right now...but I have a feeling it's soon to be out.

SSMike likes to think it's 'gold'....but he's crazy.

You might as well be rid of it.........

You won't be riding it much anymore with that 29 inch wheeled bike in your stable!

    Yeah,

I'm thinking about replacing it with a pink IF 29er with pink King hubs and head set.
    Sort of a tribute....

    That's a nice bike.Good luck selling it.

My buddy Tim had a Raleigh set-up with a 26/24" wheelset. This reminds me of his bike.
BTW,didn't Cunningham introduce the sloping top tube?

LOL...that's rich...especially since my 1988 Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt has a WAY sloped toptube and rocky had been doing the frames like that for awhile by that time. I know someone with a 87 frame with a sloped toptube and extended seattube.
